How long have you worked at Astra Bridal?

I started in September 2010.

What is your background?

I have a background in marketing.  This is my first role in bridal and I love how girly it is as I have a house full of boys!

What is your area of expertise?

Getting information out to our brides and ensuring that they are looked after before, during and after. I want to make sure that our latest gowns, promotions and competitions are offered first to our special Club Astra members.

What advice would you give to brides starting the planning process?

I am lucky to have contact with so many Astra brides after their wedding and get the priviledge of listening to their memories and experiences on their big day. I think the main piece of advice that every brides gives is to 'stop and smell the roses'. Take a deep breath and look around at all the people there sharing this moment with you.

What is your favourite part of working at Astra Bridal?

I love doing the featured brides. It is so amazing seeing the result of months (sometimes years) of planning for a wedding. The images are fantastic but I love reading the stories of how the couples got engaged and all the personal touches that made their day so special.  Also the really best moments for me are always contacting the winners of our free gown competition. To hear the excitement in their voices and to hear the impact the win makes towards their wedding always brings a smile to my face.
