Anna & Cyrano
Anna and Cyrano met at Waikato University through mutual friends, two months into dating they became inseparable and have been ever since. With a family holiday to Queenstown planned, Cyrano knew this would be the perfect place to propose. With a helicopter and photographer booked, they flew up to Cecil Peak to wonder around in ankle deep snow, where he then popped the question.
Anna wore the Brooke by Rebecca Ingram, “If it wasn't for the amazing Ilyese at Astra on Symonds Street I never would have even tried the Brooke gown on. After seeing the Chapel, I knew I wanted something classic and elegant, ballgown shape and pure white. I tried on the Brooke gown 3 separate times before falling in love with it. We had the back altered to be more open, as I wanted something simple and clean cut. I loved the seamless flow of the fabric at the front”.
The whole day ran as close to plan as they had hoped, the ceremony was perfect even with Cyrano dropping the rings! Their reception was a lot of fun, with a good mix of speeches and dining, leading in to a night with all generations on the dance floor celebrating their love. Congratulations!
