I had the most wonderful experience at Astra Bridal. The whole team is absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. I was looked after by Lara, who was amazing — so kind, supportive, and genuinely cared about helping me find the perfect dress. They have such a fantastic selection of gowns, and they had no problem transferring a dress from another store for me to try after I had no luck with my first appointment… which actually ended up being the one! Highly recommend!

The stylist who assisted me was absolutely incredible. She really took the time to listen and understand my ideas while also offering thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t considered. Together, we explored what worked, what didn’t, and why, which made me feel confident in every step of the decision.

Most importantly, she created such a warm and supportive environment that I felt completely comfortable and at ease the entire time. I’m so grateful for the care, professionalism, and genuine excitement the team showed. They turned what could have been a stressful experience into such a special and memorable one.

I had a wonderful experience with my stylist, Ilyese. She made us all feel at home, understood my vision for my wedding dress, and helped me try a number of different styles, not only to find what I was after, but also to simply enjoy the experience of trying on dresses (especially styles I might not have otherwise considered!).

I felt completely comfortable and never once felt pressured. My young nieces (1 and 4) were welcomed in, with toys for them to play with and a change table available in the bathroom.

We felt so well taken care of and had a genuinely lovely time. Thank you so much, Ilyese!!!

So blown away by the service we received today with the lovely Sarah. This was my first ever appointment, and I was nervous I wouldn’t find anything on the first go. I went in with an open mind and picked out some dresses I thought would be best suited; however, it was one of the “wildcard” dresses Sarah pre-picked for me that ended up being the winner, and I absolutely adore it!

She was so helpful and listened to everything I said I did and didn’t like about the other dresses I had tried, giving honest feedback. She definitely knows her stuff! I felt very comfortable with her and really enjoyed the whole experience. I highly recommend the luxe appointment too.

I can’t speak highly enough of Astra Bridal Northshore, and especially Sarah, the manager. Although I didn’t end up purchasing my dress from Astra (I’m based across the ditch in Australia), Sarah still went completely above and beyond to help me find my dream dress.

She spent time offering advice, sharing options, and even recommending other boutiques and competitors that might have styles closer to what I was looking for. She absolutely didn’t have to show the level of kindness, care, and support that she did, particularly knowing there was no direct benefit or compensation in it for her, but she chose to anyway. That speaks volumes about her character and the values behind Astra Bridal.

If you’re looking for a bridal experience where you feel genuinely supported, listened to, and cared for (rather than just another sale), I would recommend Sarah and Astra Bridal Northshore in a heartbeat.

Lara and the team at Astra Bridal in Albany are amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and truly special. They take the time to get to know you and what you’re after. They also made my mum and sisters feel really welcome too.
