I said YES to the dress! This day was too special not to share! I visited this beautiful store on the 4th of October had the most amazing experience. From my Zoom chat with Cindy, who explained everything so clearly, to my fitting with Brooke, who made me feel comfortable, confident, and truly beautiful — everything was perfect.

This was the first place I went and tried any dresses on (and where I ended up getting my dress from). From start to finish, I felt so looked after, informed and beautiful! I had Lisa helping me figure out what suited me and what I wanted and what an expert she is! I ended up choosing the one style I wasn’t sure about that she picked out for me!!! This was such a special and beautiful experience for me. Communication was amazing and the transparency throughout the process was really appreciated. Could not recommend enough!

I had such a memorable time trying on dresses at Astra Bridal. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was met with a warm embrace and lots of smiles. My stylist was Kryslin, who was absolutely phenomenal. She made me feel at ease and heard when I was talking about the different styles of dresses that I liked. It was really fun getting to have this experience surrounded by my family and friends, and such a knowledgeable stylist. Had a fabulous experience at Astra Bridal Hamilton! Khym was wonderful to work with, and we had so much fun with me trying on different dresses and my bridal party seeing them all and offering opinions. I found my dress at the first appointment, and found being able to spread the cost out and pay the dress off so helpful. The sleeves were purchased separately and attached to the dress by a seamstress. I felt like a princess on our wedding day and had so many compliments on my dress (and on the glittery tulle skirt!). Thank you!

Absolutely had the best experience here at Astral Bridal Newmarket. I had left my dress shopping way too late (busy busy and procrastinating), and after stressing out and realising I'm now going to have to buy off the rack, as it's too late to order anything in, I decided to book my first appointment here after seeing some online reviews.

When I walked in, the first dress I saw (which was not what I had in mind, by the way) ended up being THE DRESS and I said yes! Honestly, the team here were just fabulous and the service was incredible! They really made my whole experience from start to finish amazing, and I really didn't want to go dress shopping at all. They really looked after my maid of honour and myself, and I literally have not one complaint! Rosie was my consultant on the day, and she had us having a great old time. Impeccable service.

Rosie had Zoom called me prior to the appointment to find out more information, and when I arrived she had a bunch of options all picked out and ready to try. It was just such an easy, breezy process, and I loved that I basically had the whole store to myself. They have large changing rooms you get all to yourself, and even had a mimosa ready for us! Was giving boujee for sure!

As a plus-sized bridey who was definitely not wanting to go and try dresses, I thank you! And I highly recommend any brides, especially plus-size brides who are feeling anxious about it, to just make your appointment here and give it a go! I walked out with something I never thought I would have suited, so you really don't know until you try it! Thank you Astral Bridal, I will be singing your praises for life!

I recently flew to Astra Bridal in Wellington to try on wedding dresses. When we arrived, we were greeted with mimosas and a couple of nibbles, an AMAZING start! We were able to look through the dresses, and then my stylist, Lisa, listened to my wants and don’t wants and gathered a bunch of dresses for me to try on.

Lisa was incredible and made the experience so special. There was no rush, and if it wasn’t for her expertise, I would have walked away with a dress that didn’t suit my body shape. Lisa definitely knows her stuff when it comes to this, and I’m so glad I made the trip because I found my dream dress!

I am 8 weeks postpartum, and I cannot thank Lisa enough for her kindness, patience, and encouragement during this exciting time in my life!

I had such an enjoyable time finding my wedding dress at Astra Bridal. Kryslin made me feel welcome as soon as I stepped through the door, and she had well-rounded knowledge of different styles of dresses. Their selection of dresses was perfect; there is enough choice without it being overwhelming. When I arrived, the dresses from my wishlist were waiting on a rack. I highly recommend picking out some wishlist dresses before you go!
