My appointment at Astra Bridal with Lisa was a great experience. My family and I were welcomed promptly and offered refreshments, which was amazing! Lisa and her co-workers were absolutely lovely during my appointment and made the whole process so easy.

She explained different styles and gave some recommendations based on my ideas, and was patient and encouraging as I came to a final selection. Everyone in the store was so helpful on the day and has also kept me up to date with information on all aspects since ordering my dress with them.

I went to Astra Bridal back in March to find my wedding dress—it was actually the second appointment on my agenda for the day. After my first experience at a different bridal boutique, I felt quite overwhelmed and nervous going into my appointment at Astra.

But the minute my girls and I walked through the doors, we were greeted by the lovely Kryslin, who was our bridal consultant for the appointment. She was so welcoming and understanding, especially considering I’m a first-time bride and not really much of a “dress girly.”

She allowed me and the girls to freely browse the gowns and see if anything sparked my interest to try on. Looking at 100+ dresses can get overwhelming pretty quickly, so Kryslin came to check on us and asked what I thought I was after. I told her I wanted something plain and simple but was also open to lace styles, and she recommended the Takera dress—which was actually the very first dress I tried on. I absolutely fell in love with it.

Kryslin made me and my girls feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience. She talked me through everything while I was trying on dresses, offered us champagne, and truly made the appointment feel relaxed, special, and memorable.

I ended up booking a retry appointment with Kryslin just to make sure I felt completely confident in the dress I was choosing. In the end, surrounded by my bridesmaids and mother-in-law, I said yes to the dress she originally suggested, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

I’m so grateful for such a positive experience and would highly recommend Astra Bridal to any future bride looking for a welcoming and stress-free dress shopping experience.

I had such a lovely experience from beginning to end at Astra. I went in feeling quite nervous and overwhelmed, but from the moment I arrived, they made me feel so comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. My stylist, Keala, was absolutely amazing and really knew what she was talking about. She listened to everything I liked and disliked, but also encouraged me to try a style I never would have chosen for myself, and it ended up being the dress I purchased! I’m so grateful for her knowledge and guidance throughout the whole appointment.

Honestly, my experience at Astra Bridal, and with Lisa specifically, was the perfect experience. I felt at ease as soon as we started looking for my dress. She knew exactly what style I was after and what I could try to mix it up, so I could make sure I covered all bases and felt confident in my decision. She asked all the right questions and just knew her stuff!

If you're a bride with a vision, Lisa is your GIRL! I was so ready not to go dress shopping in Wellington, as I thought there would be nothing up to my very picky standards, but I had the most amazing experience with Lisa at Astra during my evening appointment.

I had a curated list of what I wanted to try and had such a good time, coming away with two favourites. I followed up with Lisa about another dress I’d seen online that I wanted to try, and she called in a favour from Auckland to have it express shipped down just for my follow up appointment — and it ended up being the dress I chose!

She is so knowledgeable and made me feel a million bucks (having a mimosa and the place mostly to ourselves was definitely a bonus!). I couldn’t recommend her enough.
