Brooke and the entire team at Astra Bridal Newmarket are the absolute best! They are accommodating and so lovely to deal with. I went there first in December 2024 without knowing anything about trying on wedding dresses. I gave Brooke my highly varied Pinterest board and not much to go on, but she helped me nail down some ideas.

Come this April, when I booked in three different bridal shops in one day, Brooke and the team really stood out in their professional and friendly way of helping. I came back a week later to make my final choice, knowing Astra was the place to go. We sat down and fully fleshed out my ideas and vision for my day.

I went in a completely different direction than what I originally thought I wanted, but after crossing off many dresses from the list, Brooke really helped me find my dress. I cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing all around! Such a great experience with Ilyese as my consultant—she was knowledgeable about each dress she picked out for me and ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process. It was obvious how much passion and love she poured into our short time together, as the dress I ended up picking was only the second one she made me try on! I had a great experience with Astra Bridal North Shore. Sarah was professional and friendly. She listened to my ideas but also showed me dresses I wasn't thinking of, as she has a good eye for design, and that's what you need, as you can get lost in wedding dress shopping. She did her homework when I went back the second time to try a few of my shortlisted dresses and some new ones she found for me. I ended up taking a dress on my second visit. :) During the try on, she made sure you were clipped up properly to show the best version of the dresses on you too. Highly recommend the shop. We had great fun trying on dresses.

Had the most amazing experience with Joannah at Astra Bridal in Northshore! I was very nervous about the process as a plus size bride, but they made the experience so amazing and so much fun trying on all the dresses! Found the dress of my dreams and said yes to the dress! Loved every minute of it, the girls there were so kind and supportive. 1000/10 would definitely recommend!

The whole team at Astra Bridal made a wonderful experience for me, my mum, and my bridal party. Rochelle helped me every step of the way, listening to everything I liked and didn’t like, and hand picked dresses that suited me so well! Astra Bridal was the first shop I went to to try on dresses. We travelled from out of town as they have a big range of dresses. Khym looked after me, helping guide me through the selection and offering helpful advice when needed. I’m so grateful for her patience as I was deciding between two dresses—I never felt rushed or pressured into a decision. I ended up purchasing one of the beautiful gowns, and I can’t wait to wear it. Astra Bridal and the team are amazing. I had the pleasure of having Chanelle help me find my perfect wedding dress. She was so lovely from the moment I walked in. I was running a little late, so she and my MOH had already picked out some of my liked wedding dresses. When I arrived, Chanelle talked me through trying on some dresses, we grabbed a couple of extras, and were ready to go. Chanelle was AMAZING in the fitting room—she helped me into all the dresses and talked me through how I was feeling in each dress!

My first dress was the dress of my dreams—I was over the moon, and the joy Chanelle shared with me just made it even more special. We tried on a few more, and she knew right away how I was feeling in them. We talked about what I liked and didn’t. Every step with her was great and made my experience trying on dresses the best.
