I worked with the stylist, Kryslin, and she made the whole experience of wedding dress shopping so easy and fun. She was really good at listening to what I wanted and making the whole experience feel so simple. My guests also felt really well looked after with the drinks and snacks they were provided while I tried on dresses.

The absolute BEST experience! After feeling pressured and buying a dress elsewhere that I didn’t love, my bridesmaid did a lot of research and thought Astra Bridal would have dresses more suited to my style. From the moment I walked into the store, I loved the whole experience—from the mimosas and snacks to carefully selecting gowns, the super friendly and helpful staff, and not feeling pressured at all to make a decision. Kryslin even suggested I change out of the gown that was “the one,” put a robe on, take a moment, and then try it on again to see how I felt. That’s when I knew it was a 10000% yes. I wanted a statement dress, one that made me feel like a princess (and one I could ride my horse in), and I most certainly got all that! Thank you!!!!

I had a stylist session with the amazing Sarah yesterday at the North Shore branch, and it was so wonderful! It was my first bridal dress shopping experience, and it was amazing! She was so funny and bubbly and very open to helping me find the right dress. I ended up falling in love with one of the dresses she chose! The girls are so sweet and welcoming, and they made the whole experience stress-free and fun! I couldn’t recommend Sarah more, and also Astra Bridal in general! :)

My experience at Astra Bridal North Shore in January was absolutely amazing. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and Sarah made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She was easy to get along with, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly excellent at her job—her confidence in finding the perfect dress put me completely at ease. I couldn’t recommend Astra Bridal North Shore more, and I can't wait to receive my dress in a few months time.

I had the best experience at Astra Bridal Newmarket!!!! I could not recommend this store enough. From the second I walked in, everyone was so welcoming, and I felt comfortable right away. Rosie was an absolute professional and gave really good, honest feedback. Nothing was too much trouble for her whatsoever. Their website comes with a warning that you might find your dress at the first appointment, which I didn’t believe… but here I am, with the dress of my dreams after my first appointment! So, if you are thinking about booking a try on with Astra Newmarket, I highly recommend doing so. I was somewhat anxious about dress shopping, but they took all the stress out of it and made it a really fun day. 10/10 <3

What a beautiful experience I had! Khym was amazing from the get-go—so welcoming and incredibly helpful. If I had to do it again, I would 100% go for the Luxe Appointment to enjoy the bubbles and a platter. Thank you for a great morning and for helping me find my dress!

I went to Astra Bridal Newmarket back in November 2024. I booked relatively late, but they were happy to see me anyway. Not only that, but Brooke and the team treated my friends and me so hospitably. Brooke’s suggestions based on the Pinterest vision board I sent her were spot-on, despite how varied the designs I liked were. In February of this year, it was time to lock in a dress, and of all the places I had been to, my experience at Astra Bridal was the most memorable. Not only that, but they were the most willing to work with me in terms of payment plans. They really made it feel possible for me to find and afford the dress of my dreams while staying within the budget I had set for myself. The ladies at Astra are talented, warm, and generous with their time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding dress or just wanting to try some on for the sake of knowing what suits you.

I had a 10/10 experience at Astra Bridal two weeks ago. As soon as I walked in, I felt so comfortable because, prior to my appointment, I was really nervous. However, Khym was amazing and welcoming as soon as I entered the door. The beautiful gowns greeted me and my mother-in-law, and we were just in awe of how stunning the shop was! They offered mimosas or a glass of water, along with some sweet treats on the side table. Khym was patient and so lovely as she helped me try on the dresses. Literally, the first dress I tried on, I loved straight away. Khym was a gem, and thanks to her, I’ve just today purchased my dream dress. Thank you to the team at Astra Bridal! See you in April.
