I had such a wonderful experience during my wedding dress appointment, all thanks to Joannah! She was incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely supportive. I honestly lost count of how many dresses I tried on that day, but Joannah remained so patient and never once showed a hint of frustration or tiredness, even though I was working with a minimal budget. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Her easygoing nature made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable. I truly felt heard and cared for.

Had such an awesome experience at Astra Bridal with Rosie there. I first heard about this place via the NZ Wedding Podcast and heard a few girls had been here, so decided to book here to try on a few dresses. Had the video consult with Rosie prior to the appointment so she knew exactly what kind of style I was going for.

When we arrived we were treated to a mimosa and shown to our room. I had a few people with me (5 bridesmaids and my mum) which wasn’t an issue for them. Rosie showed me a few options she thought I’d like and we picked out a few more. It was a really great experience and I felt comfortable trying them all on.

The first one was THE dress and I knew it from the beginning. No pressure to purchase but I knew that was the one. Emailed later on to say YES to the dress. Overall great experience with Rosie at Astra Bridal and would highly recommend to any brides looking for a dress!

I had the most incredible experience at Astra Bridal Newmarket. It was my very first time stepping into a bridal store in search of the dress, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start to the journey. From the moment I booked online, I was contacted by Ilyese to set up a Zoom meeting ahead of my appointment. That little extra step made all the difference. It really helped calm my nerves and gave me confidence walking into the store for the first time.

On the day, Ilyese made me and my guests feel so welcome and comfortable. She offered a range of dresses that suited my style and gave genuine, professional advice (she really knows her stuff!). I never felt rushed or pressured to like a certain dress. It was all about what felt right for me :0

To my absolute surprise, I ended up saying YES to the dress on my very first try-on! <3 The whole experience was special, relaxed, and full of joy. I’m so glad I chose Astra Bridal. Highly recommend to any bride-to-be starting their journey!

The team at Astra Bridal Newmarket is amazing. I had Rosie as my stylist, and she was phenomenal. They had such a wide range of wedding gowns and really made you feel beautiful and understood. Had the absolute best time with Joannah. I came in a week prior to my appointment for measurements, which made picking a dress on the day so much easier. We weren’t sure if my dream dress would arrive in store before my appointment (it did!). Joannah popped it to the side, and I was able to purchase it the next day! Very happy with the service, and I felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

We had the most incredible experience at Astra Bridal Hamilton! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to a gorgeous platter of nibbles and bubbles that set such a fun, celebratory tone. Our consultant, Rochelle, was absolutely amazing. She instantly picked up on our excited, giddy vibe and matched it perfectly. She was both professional and so much fun to be around.

It was an easy "yes" to the very first dress I tried, but Rochelle still encouraged me to try on others and helped narrow things down with kindness and expertise. She guided us beautifully back to my number one choice for the perfect final moment.

I had such an incredible experience at Astra Bridal Newmarket! I first visited during their annual sale to try on a few styles. Although I didn’t find the one that day, Brooke was absolutely amazing—so helpful, patient, and genuinely lovely throughout the whole visit.

A couple of weeks later, I came back with one particular dress in mind. It turned out to be the perfect day! Brooke listened so carefully to everything I liked and didn’t like based on dresses I’d tried elsewhere and helped me pull some beautiful options. She completely understood my vision, and with her help, I found the one—a dress I didn’t expect but absolutely fell in love with.

I was shopping alone, with my mum on FaceTime from the UK, and Brooke went above and beyond to make it special. She gave my mum a full tour and showed her all the angles so she could feel like she was right there with me. It honestly meant so much.

The whole experience was just amazing. I left absolutely buzzing and so excited to wear my dress! I can’t recommend Brooke and the team enough—they made what could have been a nerve-wracking process feel joyful, relaxed, and truly special. Thank you so much!

Saying yes to my dress at Astra will be an experience my bride squad and I will remember for a lifetime. I had Khym help me with the fitting and she was an absolute star! It couldn’t have gone any better, especially considering I was super nervous! They are all so lovely there and very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to all brides to shop there :)
