I bought not one, but TWO dresses during my visit to Astra Bridal on the North Shore. My consultant was attentive, funny, personable, and friendly. She made sure I felt comfortable and that all my wishes and wants were being met. I initially walked in just assuming I would simply try on some dresses for an idea, and ended up walking out with a ceremony dress and a reception dress! Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be possible with my budget, but they made it happen. I am so happy and can’t wait to get married and wear my dresses (oh, and have a husband, of course). Definitely recommend!

As the MOB, watching my daughter try on various dresses elsewhere and then finding out her budget would be well and truly blown, I was overwhelmed. I was so delighted to visit Astra Bridal with her and watch her face light up when she found two dresses – one for the ceremony and one for the reception – plus veils! Not something she had planned, but totally within her budget and absolutely stunning. The staff are incredible, listening to all the critiques and making the whole experience a real joy. If you are looking for stunning dresses in a gorgeous setting with fantastic staff, book an appointment. You won’t be disappointed!

Such an amazing experience!! I loved shopping for my wedding dress, and Astra Bridal made it such a fun time! Sarah worked with my mum and me across both the Bridal Outlet and Astra Bridal, making for an easy and seamless visit. She was super helpful, bubbly, personable, and great at her job! She did a consult with me to talk about what I wanted, knew my wish list beforehand, but also knew her stock well. I ended up choosing a dress she pulled based on what I said! They were very clear about prices and informed me beforehand when a dress I wanted to try was over my budget, so there were no surprises. We stayed exactly within my budget, and I am so excited that I found the perfect dress!! These were the only appointments I made, as I knew I could find something and didn’t want to get overwhelmed. Astra Bridal made my dress shopping experience amazing, and I am so glad I chose them! Highly recommend, and I can't say thank you enough for the care and attention they showed!

The team at Astra was amazing!! Brooke and her team were so accommodating and welcoming to me and my support group! Astra helped me find my wedding dress after many consultations due to my indecisiveness. Brooke never hesitated to let me try on a million dresses or put the same dress on five times. She also helped me think of cosmetic changes (adding buttons and changing the sleeves) to the dress to give it the ‘flare’ I was after. They made me feel confident and helped me truly picture myself as a bride. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me make such an important decision. x

Had an amazing time at Astra Bridal! Emma and the staff made us feel special and truly listened to all of my needs. They were extremely helpful, supportive, and went the extra mile to help fulfill all of my requirements! On top of that, we had so much fun and laughter! I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for their dress – the selection is amazing, and the salon looks stunning. I think all ladies who want to experience the magic of trying on dresses with family and friends, along with some bubbles and nibbles, should come here! Rosie was amazing in helping me pick my dress. She was patient, listened to my feedback throughout the process, and made me feel so comfortable. The dress I chose was not the one I had originally pictured, but I trusted the process and ended up falling in love with it (even after trying on the same two dresses about three times). All of the girls there were so accommodating and made the process fun and easy. Thanks, team! I can’t wait to wear it on my special day.

I went into Astra Bridal Newmarket with three other bridal shop appointments lined up, thinking I would shop around and see what was out there before making any decisions. I ended up heading to my first appointment at Astra Bridal Newmarket and had the most wonderful experience, led by the amazing Bridal Stylist, Brooke! Brooke and the ladies made me feel so comfortable and supported, and the whole appointment was effortless—not to mention, so much fun!! I was able to try on a plethora of absolutely stunning gowns (the selection is extensive), each one more in line with my taste than the last, until I reached the most perfect dress! I decided on the spot to look no further and said YES to the dress! I canceled all other appointments (I didn’t need to look any further) and went home unexpectedly but elated to have found my dress! Highly recommend both their service and gowns. You won’t regret visiting these lovely ladies.

Kryslin was AMAZING!!! I didn’t end up buying my wedding dress from Astra Bridal, but WOW, the service was impeccable. She was beyond lovely and super helpful, assisting me with getting in and out of the dresses as well. She was so accommodating and made it the most fun evening I’ve had. There was another lady trying on dresses at the same time, but I still felt like it was just me. I had all the attention, and it was such a special experience. I definitely, definitely recommend Astra Bridal—10/10!!!
