An absolutely fabulous experience at Astra Bridal North Shore. They have a fantastic range of wedding dresses to choose from and try on. The team goes out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and have an enjoyable experience while you’re there—they know it’s a special moment for you to find the dress! Sarah was excellent and so attentive to everything we asked to try. She made suggestions and clearly knew the gowns very well. I’d recommend a trip to Astra Bridal to any bride to be! I came into the store with my mum from Christchurch to find my dress. I had booked an appointment and had Rosie as my stylist. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience! I arrived a bit early, but they were more than happy to let us in straight away. We were immediately seated in our room and offered a drink. Rosie introduced herself—she had such a bright and bubbly personality, which made me feel very comfortable! I shared which styles I was interested in, and she showed me similar options as well as a few she thought would suit me and my outdoor wedding. All the dresses were beautiful, amazing quality, and reasonably priced. The dress I ended up choosing was actually one Rosie had picked out! I was able to take the dress home that day and even got to meet the designer, which was so cool! Everyone was so accommodating and genuine. I can’t thank Rosie enough for being so patient and for making my bridal experience so special. I will highly recommend this store to future brides (:

Rosie at Astra Bridal Newmarket is an absolute gem! She was extremely professional, had a stellar eye for detail, and still managed to be so calm and kind during the session. It honestly felt like I had a trusted friend in the room who completely understood my tastes :) I still can’t believe it, but I said yes to the dress on just my second day—and at only the second store! So efficient, really reasonably priced, and the store has a great collection of pieces. I’d definitely recommend it!

This was by far the best bridal try-on experience I had. The hospitality and the ladies were amazing. I had Lara, and as a nervous first-time bride, she made me feel extremely comfortable and heard. I am so excited for my dress to arrive. Highly recommend this place! x

Astra Bridal was the first bridal shop I visited on my journey to finding my wedding dress. Rochelle was so kind, understanding, and patient with me. She instantly made me feel comfortable and put my worries at ease! This set the bar VERY high for the following bridal shops I visited over the next 6 months. Out of all the bridal shops, Rochelle was the only one who reached out to me a few times to see how I was doing and invited me to try on more dresses each time. This meant a lot to me after my health diagnosis. I had been feeling even less confident and put off searching for a dress. Rochelle gave me the extra boost I needed (without being pushy), and last month I was able to say yes to the dress! Thank you so much for everything, Rochelle! You are a very special woman with a heart of gold.

I had the best time finding my dress at Astra Bridal! I was quite anxious starting out, but Rochelle made the whole experience so fun, and the communication before the appointment was really good. I had my 'wishlist,' and Rochelle was so sweet and helpful, pulling out dresses that she just knew I'd love. I ended up choosing one of hers, and I'm obsessed! I almost wish I hadn't found my perfect dress on the first try so I could do it all again—there were so many gorgeous dresses to try on!

I had the most phenomenal experience with Lara and the Astra Bridal team. After a previous appointment with another boutique, I felt deflated and like I hadn’t been guided or supported in choosing a dress. With Lara, it was the complete opposite experience. She is so knowledgeable, takes the time to understand what you really want, and is honest and caring throughout the whole experience.

Couldn't recommend Astra and the team enough! I had Rochelle, and she was beyond lovely and extremely knowledgeable. She knew what would suit my body and made me feel really comfortable. Bring on the big day!
