I’m not one to post reviews ever. However, these ladies are absolutely wonderful and helped me find my dream wedding dress. I would 100% recommend them and wish I had come to them first. So, if you’ve recently gotten engaged, I’m telling you — there’s no better place to find your dress. They have a gorgeous collection, and the staff are absolutely lovely.

Visited Astra Bridal after a couple of trips to other stores and could not fault my experience here! Rosie is a dream, as is Ilyese, and they are just so knowledgeable, which makes such a difference when making a big decision like this. Love their work!

Had such a special and memorable experience with Chanelle at Astra Bridal Hamilton. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and I was so nervous! Kryslin was incredible! She was extremely warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. I initially reached out to Kryslin a few weeks before my appointment with a dress in mind, which had unfortunately sold out and was no longer being produced. Kryslin arranged for another dress of similar design to come in store for me to try. How thoughtful!

When I arrived with my mum and nana, we had five gowns picked out. Kryslin suggested the order in which we tried them on. For me, this truly showed her attention to detail and quick understanding of my vision, as the first dress I put on was the one! It felt like Kryslin was a long-time friend who knew exactly what I would love, and what gown would complement my character.

I simply cannot fault a thing. A lifelong memory I will forever cherish with Mum, Nana, and Kryslin. Thank you times a million!!!

I had the most wonderful experience with Chanelle! This was my first time trying on dresses, and I was a bit nervous and didn’t know what to expect. But as soon as we arrived, we were greeted so warmly, and I immediately felt at ease. Chanelle was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She made me feel completely comfortable and made the entire experience perfect.

She was engaging not only with me but also with the support people I brought along, and she made it fun for everyone. She has such a lovely personality, and her passion and authenticity for truly wanting to help you find the perfect dress shone through.

I’m happy to say I ended up finding my perfect dress with Astra Bridal. Thank you to the whole team — from booking, to communication, to the in-person experience — it has all been wonderful and has made my wedding planning experience that much easier. The ladies at Astra Bridal (Brooke in particular) were absolutely lovely throughout the entire appointment. Having a consultation beforehand made me feel so comfortable walking in, like I was seeing an old friend! Brooke made sure all my options were discussed and ready to go, explaining everything clearly and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout the process.

I had my eyes set on one of their dresses for two years, and to my luck, they had it in stock and kept it aside for me. (Although every dress was gorgeous and definitely made it hard to choose!) Brooke was an absolutely beautiful, kind, and patient wahine who made the appointment all the more special, along with the free nibbles and bottomless mimosas!

I ended up purchasing my dream dress on the day with the help of all the lovely ladies at reception. Everyone was so kind to my whānau and me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Recommend 11/10. PLEASE COME HERE!!!!

I said yes to the dress at Astra Bridal Hamilton!! I cannot recommend this store enough. This was the third dress store I had visited, and by far the best experience. Khym really listened to my ideas about what I thought my dress would look like and helped me find something while being mindful of my budget. She allowed me to make up my own mind and form my own thoughts about the dresses I tried on before offering her opinion. She wasn’t pushy about trying to make a sale, and I just felt so special the entire appointment. The mimosa was an added bonus too! Thanks, Khym, for an amazing experience and for helping me find my perfect dress!

I had a great experience at Astra Bridal. I was able to go through their website prior to my appointment and add a bunch of dresses to my wish list. This meant that when I arrived, they had already picked them out and had them ready for me. I was then able to look through some other dresses to see if there was anything else I wanted to try. There were lots of different styles to choose from. Lara was amazing and really helped me work out exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t want. Highly recommend booking an appointment with Astra!
