Astra Bridal was the first shop I went to to try on dresses. We travelled from out of town as they have a big range of dresses. Khym looked after me, helping guide me through the selection and offering helpful advice when needed. I’m so grateful for her patience as I was deciding between two dresses—I never felt rushed or pressured into a decision. I ended up purchasing one of the beautiful gowns, and I can’t wait to wear it. The whole experience was amazing <3 Thank you so much!

Astra Bridal and the team are amazing. I had the pleasure of having Chanelle help me find my perfect wedding dress. She was so lovely from the moment I walked in. I was running a little late, so she and my MOH had already picked out some of my liked wedding dresses. When I arrived, Chanelle talked me through trying on some dresses, we grabbed a couple of extras, and were ready to go. Chanelle was AMAZING in the fitting room—she helped me into all the dresses and talked me through how I was feeling in each dress!

My first dress was the dress of my dreams—I was over the moon, and the joy Chanelle shared with me just made it even more special. We tried on a few more, and she knew right away how I was feeling in them. We talked about what I liked and didn’t. Every step with her was great and made my experience trying on dresses the best. I highly recommend Astra Bridal and Chanelle!! <3

An absolutely fabulous experience at Astra Bridal North Shore. They have a fantastic range of wedding dresses to choose from and try on. The team goes out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable and have an enjoyable experience while you’re there—they know it’s a special moment for you to find the dress! Sarah was excellent and so attentive to everything we asked to try. She made suggestions and clearly knew the gowns very well. I’d recommend a trip to Astra Bridal to any bride to be! I went to Astra in Newmarket, and also visited two other bridal stores. I cannot recommend Astra Newmarket and Ilyese highly enough. The experience here was so much more relaxing than the others, and I think overall a better quality selection. Ilyese was amazing and completely got what I was after. She was then able to pick other dresses based on what we liked and didn’t like, which was super helpful to narrow it down. It turned out it was actually the first dress—and she nailed it in one! But it was good to try the others to make sure. Ilyese went above and beyond to help me try things so I was happy and knew I was getting the right dress for me, even getting some other options from other Astra stores when I went back to re-try, which was a huge help. Ilyese, thank you so much for your help finding my dress! I really appreciated your advice and expertise. After trying some other dresses elsewhere in the style I was after that really didn’t suit my shape, I didn’t think I would actually get something in the style I wanted—so thank you so much!

My wedding was about two weeks out, and I made a last minute decision to buy a white wedding dress. Previously, I was going to opt for cultural wear only. Super last minute, but the team did an amazing job to help. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find anything so close to the date, but Kryslin was patient and helpful, and did everything she could to help me find a dress. We even ended up getting a dress sent from a different store—it was delivered the next day, and I could go in and try it on. When I had no responses from tailors, Kryslin went out of her way to help find me one who could fit me in last minute. Erika was also fantastic! I sent my sister in to pick up my dress and help find a veil. She was super helpful and patient as we went through all the different veil options. Thank you, ladies, for your help! <3

I bought my wedding dress from here for a wedding in 2025! They could not have been more helpful. I went in, and they immediately found a dress that I loved—genuinely, it was the first one I tried on. Every other dress paled in comparison, but I gave them a go anyway. It was such a quick choice, and I never had any doubts after. I highly, highly recommend the team there for their kindness and knowledge. Thank you so much!
