Lisa has been involved in bridal since she can remember. Sometimes fitting sewing and designing around raising her children or having another job. When the opportunity came up to combine her passion and a career in the industry she jumped at the chance. It took no time for her to move in to the position of manager and has led the team in Wellington for a number of years. Her expertise in gown construction is fabulous and any bride lucky enough to be with Lisa will receive the benefit of that knowledge. But the construction knowledge is only part of the enthusiasm and love of bridal that Lisa can bring to a bride's experience at Astra.

My appointment at Astra Bridal with Lisa was a great experience. My family and I were welcomed promptly and offered refreshments, which was amazing! Lisa and her co-workers were absolutely lovely during my appointment and made the whole process so easy.
She explained different styles and gave some recommendations based on my ideas, and was patient and encouraging as I came to a final selection. Everyone in the store was so helpful on the day and has also kept me up to date with information on all aspects since ordering my dress with them.

Honestly, my experience at Astra Bridal, and with Lisa specifically, was the perfect experience. I felt at ease as soon as we started looking for my dress. She knew exactly what style I was after and what I could try to mix it up, so I could make sure I covered all bases and felt confident in my decision. She asked all the right questions and just knew her stuff!
The whole appointment was just great, and organising the financials of it really put me at ease too. I'm so happy I booked with Astra Bridal, and the selection of dresses was fantastic!

If you're a bride with a vision, Lisa is your GIRL! I was so ready not to go dress shopping in Wellington, as I thought there would be nothing up to my very picky standards, but I had the most amazing experience with Lisa at Astra during my evening appointment.
I had a curated list of what I wanted to try and had such a good time, coming away with two favourites. I followed up with Lisa about another dress I’d seen online that I wanted to try, and she called in a favour from Auckland to have it express shipped down just for my follow up appointment — and it ended up being the dress I chose!
She is so knowledgeable and made me feel a million bucks (having a mimosa and the place mostly to ourselves was definitely a bonus!). I couldn’t recommend her enough.
