Sophie & George

Sophie & George

Sophie and George met at the Halloween party in 2015 as they had many mutual friends through sport. They quickly became friends and started training together as Sophie is a triathlete, which resulted in them starting to date in May 2016. Since then they have been inseparable, travelling around the world for many sporting events. When Easter 2019 came around, George knew this was the perfect time to propose to Sophie, with a ring hidden in Sophie’s Easter egg Box the plan was set.

Sophie wore the Mildred by Rebecca Ingram, “When I went to choose my wedding dress, I was a bit clueless as to what style I should go for. I knew I wanted something elegant and simple, but other than that I was quite open-minded. When Sarah pulled out some styles for me to try on, I was surprised at the dresses that looked nice on me, and the ones that clearly weren't made for me! My wedding dress was the third one I tried on, and mum looked at me with tears in her eyes. I knew that was the one. I tried some more on after that, but kept coming back to my favourite one, and it wasn't hard to commit to it! The beautiful detailing on the top of the dress and impressive train made me feel so special and I didn't stop beaming the whole day. I have had many compliments about my dress!”

With an overwhelming sense of happiness and excitement, their wedding day was exactly as Sophie and George imagined. With friends and family gathering to celebrate this special occasion they continued into the night with lots of cake and some dancing! Congratulations Sophie and George.
