Esperanza and Anton said “I Do” in a lovely lakeside ceremony and also took a moment for a park photoshoot, just for the two of them. The photos beautifully captured the love and joy as they celebrated their newlywed status.
Esperanza looked mesmerising in Amaia by Forget Me Knot, a lace sweetheart neckline A-line gown with detachable lace off the shoulder sleeves and a floral and leaf lace bodice, with the lace cascading down into the dreamy tulle skirt.
We hope you enjoy scrolling through the dreamy photos and highlights of their special day. Congratulations, Esperanza and Anton!
What was it that made this particular wedding dress catch your eye and fall in love?
The moment I put it on, something just clicked.
It wasn't necessarily what I had imagined choosing when I first started shopping, but as soon as I saw myself in it, I felt completely like myself, just the most confident, elegant, and beautiful version of myself.
The silhouette complemented my figure perfectly, it was incredibly comfortable to wear, and it moved beautifully. I felt graceful, feminine, and confident all at once.
Most importantly, it gave me that feeling every bride talks about but that you don't truly understand until it happens. I could instantly picture myself walking down the aisle wearing it. It felt timeless, romantic, and special. It made me feel like a princess without feeling like I was wearing a costume.
It simply felt like my dress.
Tell us about your search for the dress and the experience at Astra Bridal.
My experience at Astra Bridal was wonderful from start to finish.
Lara was absolutely incredible and made the entire process feel exciting, personal, and stress-free. From my very first appointment, she took the time to listen to what I liked, understand my vision, and guide me through styles I might never have considered on my own.
What I appreciated most was how patient and accommodating the team was throughout the process. They welcomed me back multiple times so I could share the experience with different friends and family members, and every visit felt just as special as the first. I never felt rushed or pressured. Instead, I felt supported and genuinely cared for.
Finding a wedding dress can feel overwhelming, but Astra Bridal made it one of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning. Looking back, some of my happiest wedding-planning memories happened in that showroom, surrounded by excitement, anticipation, and the wonderful team who helped me find my dream dress.
Tell us your story, how you both met, and the proposal.
Anton and I met through Bumble, which feels like such a modern love story. What started as a simple swipe quickly turned into something neither of us expected. Anton says the first thing he noticed about me was my smile, and from the moment we met, I made him feel comfortable and understood. As for me, my first thought was much simpler: “Wow, he is so handsome.” Thankfully, I quickly discovered that he was also incredibly smart, funny, thoughtful, and kind.
From that first date, spending time together felt easy. There was never any question about whether we wanted to see each other again. We just kept choosing each other, day after day. Over the following year, our relationship grew through life’s simplest moments: slow mornings cuddled up together, making breakfast side by side, watching movies on the couch, and sending each other far too many memes. We also discovered a shared love of bouldering, where trust, encouragement, and teamwork became part of our everyday life. Some of our happiest memories came from these ordinary moments together.
As our relationship grew, so did our world. We travelled to Argentina and Serbia to meet each other’s families, bringing together different cultures, languages, and traditions. These trips became some of our most meaningful experiences.
The proposal happened during a trip to Montenegro and remains one of the most magical days of our lives. We were visiting the beautiful coastal town of Kotor and decided to climb to the ancient fortress overlooking the bay. The hike felt like an adventure, with old stone pathways, breathtaking views, and friendly cats wandering around. To this day, I’m convinced they were all part of Anton’s secret proposal plan.
When we reached the top, Anton asked his mum to take a photo of us, but I didn’t realise she was actually recording a video. He turned to me and asked if I thought the climb had been worth it. When I said yes, he smiled and told me that I make every day worth it for him. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Of course, I said yes. We were sweaty from the climb, emotional, laughing, crying, and completely overwhelmed with happiness. It was perfect because it felt exactly like us: adventurous, heartfelt, a little bit chaotic, and filled with love.
What was your favourite part of the day?
It's almost impossible to choose just one favourite moment because the entire day felt like a dream, but our photo session was definitely one of the highlights.
It gave us a chance to step away from everything for a little while and simply enjoy being together. There was no schedule to think about, no planning, no nerves. Just the two of us soaking in the moment. It was also the first time Anton saw me in my wedding dress, which made it incredibly emotional and special. Seeing his reaction is a memory I will treasure forever.
One of the best decisions we made was renting the beautiful lakefront house for the entire weekend. Instead of feeling rushed, we were able to fully enjoy every part of the celebration. We had time to prepare with our friends beforehand, celebrate together on the wedding day, and continue making memories afterwards.
What made the day truly unforgettable wasn't one single moment, but the feeling of being surrounded by so much love. Sharing our vows, hearing the speeches, laughing with friends, dancing late into the evening, and celebrating with the people who mean the most to us made every part of the day feel incredibly meaningful.
Tell us about your wedding day as a whole.
Our wedding day was particularly memorable because it took place the day before a cyclone was expected to arrive. Somehow, despite all the forecasts, we were gifted the most beautiful weather imaginable.
The skies were clear, the sun was shining, and as the afternoon turned into evening, the sky transformed into stunning shades of gold, orange, and pink. It felt as though nature had decided to give us one last perfect summer day.
The morning was filled with excitement and anticipation. I spent it surrounded by my closest friends, all of us getting ready together, laughing, sharing stories, helping one another, and enjoying every little moment before the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was intimate, emotional, and incredibly personal. We exchanged our vows overlooking the water while a violinist played softly in the background, creating the most beautiful atmosphere. Looking out and seeing our family and friends gathered together to celebrate with us was something I'll never forget.
The reception felt warm, relaxed, and full of joy. There were heartfelt speeches, delicious food, plenty of dancing, and countless moments of laughter. More than anything, there was an overwhelming feeling of love throughout the entire day.
It was everything we had hoped for and more.
Finally, what is your biggest piece of advice for brides to be?
Remember that at the heart of it all, the wedding is about celebrating your relationship and the life you're building together.
It's easy to get caught up in timelines, details, and trying to make everything perfect, but the moments you'll remember most are often the ones you can't plan for. The laugh you share during the ceremony, the hug from a loved one, the look on your partner's face when they see you for the first time.
Take a few moments throughout the day to pause and truly take it all in. Look around the room. Spend time with your partner. Be present. The day goes by incredibly fast, and those little moments become some of the most treasured memories.
Perfection isn't what makes a wedding unforgettable. Love does.
