Ashley has an empathetic nature with a background in Architectural design, she completed her Masters at the University of Auckland and since spending five years in the architectural industry, is loving bringing her knowledge back to the fitting room. She has a wealth of fashion retail experience from her time studying that she brings to her Stylist appointments. This experience ranges from footwear and undergarments, to accessories and clothing. Any brides that book with Ashley can expect an authentic tailored experience and will leave feeling seen and understood.
I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the team at Astra Bridal Newmarket. I had Ashley as my bridal stylist, and she was an absolute delight. Ashley made the experience very relaxed and took the pressure and stress out of looking for a dress. At no point did she make me feel rushed or pressured; she was happy to let me try as many different styles as I needed. I am certainly not the type to enjoy having to show off everything I try on, so despite my clearly uncomfortable and uneasy facial expressions with every dress I walked out in, she was able to find the perfect dress that worked for me.
Ashley was so excited to hear that I had chosen one of the dresses and would be taking it home that day. To have someone who clearly loves what they do and genuinely wants to help you find a dress you're comfortable in made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Not only was Ashley amazing, but once I had bought my dress, the whole Newmarket team was happy to have a chat. They were all sad to see their dress leave, but happy to see it going home to someone.
Having a whole team care that much about their work gives the store such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I couldn't have hoped for a better wedding dress shopping experience. Thanks heaps for all your help and support in finding the dress for me <3

I had such a lovely experience shopping for my wedding dress here! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Ashley was absolutely amazing! She made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process, and we had so much fun trying on different dresses. She was so helpful, patient, and really listened to what I was looking for. We had such an amazing experience while finding my dress here a few days ago. I had Ashley helping me throughout the whole process, and I couldn't recommend her enough! I truly felt so comfortable and heard throughout the entire appointment, and she brought in a stunning variety of dresses. The space is beautiful, and it is very clear how much effort and thought is put into making every bride's experience special!
