Lisa has been involved in bridal since she can remember. Sometimes fitting sewing and designing around raising her children or having another job. When the opportunity came up to combine her passion and a career in the industry she jumped at the chance. It took no time for her to move in to the position of manager and has led the team in Wellington for a number of years. Her expertise in gown construction is fabulous and any bride lucky enough to be with Lisa will receive the benefit of that knowledge. But the construction knowledge is only part of the enthusiasm and love of bridal that Lisa can bring to a bride's experience at Astra.

Just wanted to share my incredible experience with Astra Bridal Wellington and to say thank you to the team there too. This was the first place I visited on my wedding dress journey, and I went to two other places afterwards in town. Astra was by far the best experience, offering amazing guidance from Lisa (and Kryslin for my final appointment), along with a wonderful and large range of dresses. Both my re-try appointments were fantastic, and I felt so supported as I found my dream dress.

Lisa and the team at Astra Bridal are so incredible to work with. I felt so comfortable there and so did the seven guests who came with me! It was my very first day trying on gowns, and I honestly didn’t expect to find the one, but I did! The team made me feel comfortable, supported, and special throughout the entire appointment. They really listened to what I was looking for, offered amazing suggestions, and created such a relaxed, pressure-free atmosphere. Thank you so much to everyone there for making such a huge moment in my life feel easy, joyful, and exciting. I couldn't have asked for a better place to say yes to the dress!
