Probably the only try-on experience you'll need, to be honest. The whole team is so welcoming, but Brooke specifically is amazing. It felt like I was chatting with a friend. The space itself felt elegant and feminine, but also super approachable, not catty or stuffy at all. Brooke knew exactly what I was after, but still picked out a few different styles because why not try a bit of everything? I ultimately ended up getting my dream dress here with basically zero stress. Pricing is also reasonable (for wedding things, lol).

I had the most wonderful experience here with my stylist Brooke. She has been the biggest help in saying yes to the dress. She offered great suggestions and really helped me have my bridal moment. I highly recommend the team here as they are all amazing, super friendly, and just such an all around amazing experience. The video consult before the actual appointment helped so much and it meant we were ready to try on dresses as soon as we arrived. The mimosas were an added bonus and I just felt like absolute royalty the entire time. Nothing has been too much and I just feel so happy to have had such an amazing experience.

The Newmarket Astra Bridal team were an absolute dream for me as a nervous plus sized bride! I dropped in for a Sip & See just to get my head around what styles of wedding dress were available at which price points, and left knowing I would buy my dress from this store because of how welcoming, fun, supportive and attentive the whole crew was. I really recommend coming along to one of these nights if you don't know where to start with your dress shopping experience!

I went back a few weeks later for a consultation with Brooke and was amazed at her attention to detail all the way from the dresses she pulled for us to start (most of which were ones I'd pointed out at my first visit) through to finding THE dress which truly felt like they'd got it in store just for me! I was so nervous about my size and finding something comfortable, but Brooke never put me in a single dress that made me feel insecure with my body and she was quick to push away even a second of doubt. I felt she heard and saw me for who I was, made sure I was comfortable the entire way through and kept up some great yarns.

It was amazing having Ilyese pop in and join us for the yarns, offer advice, and hype me up, amidst her busy mahi as an on-site designer. The only possible downside to the experience at Astra Bridal Newmarket is you might find yourself trying to convince your fiancée that you need to invite the gals to your wedding <3
