On a beautifully sunny November day in Auckland, Jefy and Nishij vowed to spend the rest of their lives together at the Holy Cross Parish Henderson, which was followed by gorgeous photos and the reception at Tui Hills.
Jefy wore the ultra chic and timeless Jean gown by Theia Bridal. This slip gown exudes old Hollywood glamour with its luxe satin fabric, empire waist, and mermaid cut. She paired it with a beaded edge veil and art-deco inspired necklace and earring set. We're in love with her whole bridal look!
What was it that made this particular wedding dress catch your eye and fall in love?
I chose my wedding dress because it draped beautifully on me and it just looked so elegant and comfortable! The satin felt so amazing against my skin and I knew I could wear this dress and be at ease the whole day!

I was lucky enough to find my wedding dress the first time I went dress shopping! The video call prior to the appointment (Style & Design Review) with my stylist was really helpful as she was able to understand the style of dresses I was after and had dresses ready for me to try on when I got to my appointment.
Tell us your story, how you both met, and the proposal.
We met back in 2017 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. He was very impressed with my beer pong skills and wanted to get to know me more straightaway! We fell in love and four years later, he took me to Hawke’s Bay Craggy Range and proposed to me at the vineyard as he knew my love for wine and vineyards, it was truly so special!
What was your favourite part of the day?
My favourite part of the day was walking down the aisle after getting married. I remember feeling super excited to start our journey together as husband and wife!
Tell us about your wedding day as a whole.
My bridesmaids and I started the day super early at my house as we had a morning ceremony. Due to a last minute cancellation, I had to do my own make-up for the wedding but I remember my house during this time being pretty chill and calm as everyone got ready. The weather was perfect, it drizzled a bit in the early morning and the sun was out for the rest of the day. We had our ceremony at Holy Cross Parish Henderson followed by reception at Tui Hills. It truly was such an amazing day!
Finally, what is your biggest piece of advice for brides to be?
Just enjoy your big day and be present! The day will go by super quickly so be positive and cherish every moment during the day!
