Ryan and Laticia met at Festival One. They had both gone separately with friends but because they had mutual friends they ended up camping next to each other. A couple days following the festival Ryan messaged to see if Laticia wanted to catch up for coffee and the rest is history! Following on from a trip in the South Island, they were driving back to catch the ferry where they stopped at Lake Rotoroa. Taking in the beautiful scenery Ryan asked Laticia to set up the camera so they could take a picture together, as she turned around he was down on one knee and asked the question she had been waiting for!
Laticia wore the Chloe by Rish Bridal, “I was working with Dee from Astra Bridal in Hamilton. We had organised an appointment to try on dresses in the store but then the country went into another lockdown, we tried to reschedule many times but the lockdown continued to be extended. Eventually, we made the decision to do a virtual consultation. I had chosen about 5 dresses and sent them to Dee and she organised a contactless drop off to my house so that I could try them on. On the day Dee called me and had said that a dress had arrived the day before and she thought it would be something that I might like. When trying on all the dresses I had chosen they just weren't quite right, they were beautiful but not the dress for me. When I tried on the dress Dee had chosen I immediately felt beautiful! It was the perfect amount of elegance and sexy at the same time and the more I wore it the less I wanted to take it off and I just knew it was the dress for me! I was so glad that although it wasn't a style I would have picked for myself that Dee was there to guide me through it all and help me pick my dream dress”.
Their day was perfect - friends and family helped make the day exactly how they wanted. The vibe for the wedding was accompanied by games, relaxing, laughter and just simply having a good time enjoying the company of those closest to them. Congratulations Laticia and Ryan!
