I had a wonderful experience with my stylist, Ilyese. She made us all feel at home, understood my vision for my wedding dress, and helped me try a number of different styles, not only to find what I was after, but also to simply enjoy the experience of trying on dresses (especially styles I might not have otherwise considered!).
I felt completely comfortable and never once felt pressured. My young nieces (1 and 4) were welcomed in, with toys for them to play with and a change table available in the bathroom.
We felt so well taken care of and had a genuinely lovely time. Thank you so much, Ilyese!!!

From start to finish, the team was absolutely incredible. The care, patience, and genuine kindness shown throughout the entire wedding planning journey meant more to me than words can express. Every step felt supported, thoughtful, and truly heart-led.
A special thank you to Ilyese, who was truly my wedding dress fairy godmother. I came in without a clear vision and with a little stress, as this was a last minute change to a Western wedding dress. Ilyese embraced the experience with such intuition, understanding, and skill. She just knew what I was after, even before I fully did myself.
The one dress she picked out became my forever dress, and I will be forever grateful for that magic.

We also cater for all size ranges with our samples varying
from a size 6 to a size 26. We do our best to ensure every bride gets
to have a special bridal experience at Astra Bridal Newmarket.

staff are trained to give advice on gown fit, colour, fabric, design to
suit your body shape and the style of wedding. They are also the most
passionate bridal team you will find in Auckland.
